Tweed Heads

Tweeds Heads sits at the top of the New South Wales coast, on the border with Queensland. Across the border is the Gold Coast town of Coolangatta. The two towns of Tweed Heads and Coolangatta are often referred to as the Twin Towns.

Tweed Heads is a perfect family-friendly destination with terrific beaches, great bush walking tracks and diving sites off shore. Take a houseboat trip along the Tweed River, go bushwalking in one of the 14 national parks or explore the rainforests and beaches. Be sure to check out the Point Danger Lookout and Lighthouse which is split by the state border with Queensland.

There are many restaurants, cafes and clubs to try out including the famous Twin Towns Services Club. All tastes and styles are catered for with many family friendly options. 

Within very easy access of Tweed Heads are the coastal towns of Byron Bay and Queensland's Gold Coast.
